Supported Independent Living

A home.
Not a facility.

SIL is rostered support in a home that is genuinely yours — your furniture, your routines, your visitors, your Saturday. We staff it properly so independence is real, not aspirational.

SIL questions,

SIL funding covers the support staff in your home — the rostered hours that make independent living work. Your tenancy and everyday living arrangements sit separately, and we set the whole picture out clearly in writing before you commit.

Yes. Compatibility comes first — we run meet-and-greets with the household before any move, and if it is not right we say so rather than filling a room.

You meet workers before support starts and can ask for a different match at any time. Consistency matters, so we build a small core team around each household.

Ratios and rosters are reviewed formally at 30 and 90 days, then regularly after that. If your needs increase we adjust staffing and supervision rather than waiting for a plan review.

Yes — including PEG, tracheostomy, epilepsy and behaviours of concern, with participant-specific plans and senior staff on call 24/7.

Thinking about moving into SIL?

We will walk you and your family through funding, housing, compatibility and timing — with no pressure to commit to us.
